Styrene-Fact Sheet
Syrene is a a clear liquid that evaporates very quickly. It is used to create polymers in which to make plastics, these plastics can serve a shoes, cups, car parts, and actions figures. These plastics serve a variety of uses and have a high demand on the marker. It is a natural material found within the environment. Although it is found naturally within some plants and food it is manufactured
due to the low amounts of harvestable styrene within the environment.
It is an organic compound with the formula C6H5CH=CH2, It is manufactured through the dehydration of ethylbenzene. Ethylbenzene is found naturally within coal tar and petroleum. In general styrene is not to bad for health and the environment but too much can cause some serious problems. The production of styrene is going up and always bas been since the first use of its polymers.
It serves many uses and is all around us, below is a chart showing some of these purposes of the polymers created from styrene.

The Value of Money
The Value of Money
If you look at money it is a fairly invaluable substance itself, its value comes from what it represents. What it represents is the resources that back up the purchasing power of the paper/metal itself. The value of the money depends on who is backing it up and wether they are a credible resource. With proper backing up money is worth a lot, it is the power to get many things done and is a very reliable commodity. However with nothing to back it up, such as much of our currency, its power is lost and it can get less things done. All its worth is the emphasis that society as a whole is willing to place on it in correlation to what it is being backed up by. At one point our currency was backed by resources, namely silver and gold. Now our money is backed by the not so much of a promise of its current and future worth.

History of The Baja California Sur
Due to artifacts such as arrow heads and Clovis points it is estimated that the BCS was first cultivated primitively as early as 11000bc. Most likely for the abundance of food for early hunters and gatherers including snakes, birds, fish and wild cats. When the earliest explorers came to check out the sur they found 4 ethnic groups, hunters/gatherers but well skilled in fishing and pottery.(just no agriculture)
The first spaniards arrived 1533 but made no attempts to civilize the sur until the late 17th century. Colonization as always came with its price for the indigenous with disease and violence that deeply decreased their numbers. After the Mexican-American war ownership of the peninsula was given to mexico.
Today BCS serves as a getaway spot for tourism but still makes a good economy through salt mining. There is great fishing and good agriculture, plus big waves and some of the most beautiful sights to attract a large tourism industry.

Robert Kennedy Jr. was enlarge a big contributor to environmentalism because of the name of the Kennedy family. He did a lot for publicizing the issues also he was capable of getting legal issues involved with helping the environment. He was often seen as a hypocrite for not letting them build windmills in the way of his view and for the family owning two drilling companies.

Socialism vs. Capitalism
The issue at hand concerning environmental sustainability is without a doubt a question of the ethics of informed people. We have proven that our pride and desires can weigh out just about any sense of ethnical duty we have to others and the environment. That being said, capitalism is primarily lead (to its extremities) by greed. Capitalism allows a lot of individuals to make major decisions in the field of environmental and social issues, wether it be pollution or the manipulation of the poor. On the contrary it also promotes the ability of individuals to make huge steps for the better, from sustainable energy to reasonable wages.
Socialism would reduce the ability of the corrupt individual to make major decisions. On the contrary it would also reduce the ability of wise individuals to make proper decisions. The question the raised is will people in general make better decisions within a group or as individual. It is a debatable issue in phycology today and in reality you cant say it is always better one way or the other. I'de say the next big thing is how many people are informed with the problems. It is becoming so prevalent that a lot of people are in fact informed with the pressing environmental issues. I'de say an informed society as a whole have better ethnics than informed individuals, thusly i believe socialism is more eco friendly.

Here is a google earth image of the lower BCS.
