Socialism vs. Capitalism

                    The issue at hand concerning environmental sustainability is without a doubt a question of the ethics of informed people. We have proven that our pride and desires can weigh out just about any sense of ethnical duty we have to others and the environment. That being said, capitalism is primarily lead (to its extremities) by greed. Capitalism allows a lot of individuals to make major decisions in the field of environmental and social issues, wether it be pollution or the manipulation of the poor. On the contrary it also promotes the ability of individuals to make huge steps for the better, from sustainable energy to reasonable wages. 

                   Socialism would reduce the ability of the corrupt individual to make major decisions.  On the contrary it would also reduce the ability of wise individuals to make proper decisions. The question the raised is will people in general make better decisions within a group or as individual. It is a debatable issue in phycology today and in reality you cant say it is always better one way or the other. I'de say the next big thing is how many people are informed with the problems. It is becoming so prevalent that a lot of people are in fact informed with the pressing environmental issues. I'de say an informed society as a whole have better ethnics than informed individuals, thusly i believe socialism is more eco friendly.
